About

October 7th, 1980, 4:45pm:
So it begins.

1980 - 1987:
Younger years were spent in a small red house near the Manasquan River in Brick, NJ. Got my tongue stuck to a street sign pole, just like Ralphie. Got my first Nintendo. Favorite Christmas present: Gremlins VHS tape.

1987 - 1989:
Moved to backwoods Virginia... my parents were trying to live that American dream, I guess. Almost instantly we tried the whole "Green Acres" thing and got a ton of farm animals and plopped them on our 8 acres. Sold some pheasant, some quail. I was tricked into eating pork chops one night and then found out afterwards that I had just eaten one of our pigs (that I had grown fond of). I haven't eaten pork since, thanks Mom.

1989 - 1999:
Realizing that the country wasn't for us, back to New Jersey we go. 3 months or so staying at my grandmother's house and then we moved into the house I'd spend my formative years. Turned into a fat kid. First car: 1994 Ford Mustang black, with pinstripes. Spent many hours in mechanical drawing and architectual drafting classes. Got bored with AutoCAD and started messing around with HTML, as America Online was just picking up steam. Created a few music-related websites back in the day, but realized this web design stuff was kind of fun and did not seem like "work" at all to me.

1999 - 2000:
Graduated high school. My then "just a friend" Karen talked me into a roadtrip with her, and I saw my first Phish show and got my mind blown. Decided I was going to enroll at Monmouth University, as they seemed to be one of the only local schools with a decent art program. I commuted the first semester, but found being a commuting fine arts student was pretty terrible, lugging around my supplies and artwork around. I convinced my family that I needed to move into the dorms in order to make the best of my education. And so I did... moved into a 12' x 12' concrete walled dorm room with 2 other guys. A love triangle and a theft marked my time in the dorms, and I couldn't bring myself to pledge to a fraternity. What kind of art student does that? My time at Monmouth was cut short when I realized I wouldn't be able to even touch a computer for graphic design purposes until my junior year. I needed to dive into this web design thing right away, so I did some research and found the Art Institute of Philadelphia... big-ish city, here I come.

2000 - 2007:
coming soon...
